Biography
Hello, my name is Maurice Greening. i was born in Fayetteville, North Carolina in 1992 and raised in Augusta, Georgia. I am currently living in Killeen, Texas for these next three months. An overall writer of multiple forms for the majority of my life, i got my start in performing my poetry in spoken word events hosted by Georgia Regents University Fall 2011. From then on, i had performed in a total of ten spoken word events around the August area. I hope to obtain my bachelor's degree in Creative Writing soon. Majority of my poems reflect my innermost feelings at the very moment the words are written on paper. It has been a deep passion of mine since i was eleven.

Sunshine The light standing high in the sky, blasting in a person's awakening eyes. through the blinds on the window remanding one of higher blessings to have air to breathe. And the ability to see what is not promise to anyone. Whether one lives in a shack or a home with stairs A beam of sundays will surely brighten their day leaving a smile on that sad face. Yesterday's problems should be just a blur. Today is the time of innovation and reinventing oneself Out with the old. In with the new. No need to keep a mood that's blue.
