Biography

I am an amateur poet looking for feedback on my work. Leave me a message if you have any advice. Thanks!

Taste Testing

My fickle lover is as soft and smooth as toffee pudding and I chew her up: teeth on tapioca But I'm as tempestuous as she is fickle I'll rage again; she turns tail - bolts, all leggy, doe-eyed calf I don't want pliant or easy or milk-blooded I want someone to love me in every season

Snack

I eat frozen blueberries by the spoonful sitting on my cool kitchen tile and think: "How decadent!" "How Indulgent of me!" I feel like I'm Caesar Augustus, dining on grapes, waited on by his many pretty boy-slaves, reclining on a litter, eyes lazily turned sky-ward... I don't imagine that Octavianus did his dishes afterwards

Welcome to my Profile

Dear reader, Why are you here? Choose Homer, Vergil, Shelley, Brontë A thousand talented poets have trod before me, and I have no clever hendecasyllabic or wry couplets to offer you. Either begin, or begone!
