Biography

I haven't really done anything yet

If you were the goddess reigning over us all I would desperately, pathetically, devotedly Drink the air you pumped into our atmosphere I would dive in streams and love the trees In an attempt to taste your essence. In a thousand years I would wage wars in your name Irrationally and unproductively Because that’s not what you would ask And it would not elevate me in your eyes. If you were the cold I would stand naked in your tundra And let you destroy me I would let you freeze me, assault me with your bitterness I would let you freeze me until I burned And my body was black And useless Would that release me from a life without you? If you were death, as I suspect you are, The juice infecting our psyches and permeating our purple hearts, I would make myself your servant I would follow you through your sick appointments Taking notes of ways I could please you Charm you Knowing all along Your kiss is inevitable My death is close You’re my giant elephant in the sky Saving me without the slightest clue how My voice is small I am small I am timid and terrified Of you becoming my universe. The one thing that saves me from this and terrifies me more Is that maybe you already are.
