Biography

"Poetry written proper, and without meaning is pointless." Neil Miller is a undergraduate student at Longwood University where he is studying Business Administration. In a world consumed with depression, he uses poetry to express hardships and pain. Each moment in his life he uses as a lesson, and while hard, he beats along the path pursuing his dreams of becoming a firefighter/paramedic. "Dreams are not found easy, dreams are found in the worst moments of our lives. If you push beyond those moments, nothing can stop you" - Neil Miller

Sample: Your Bullet

As a trigger is pulled on the gun, powder ignites. A bullet sets its path as it leaves the barrel, and I am the target. It screams through the air with a whistle, finding my skin in the breeze.

Sample: Emotions

Breathe, relax, feel let each emotion arise. Cry, laugh, scream let the feelings free. Each emotion tells a story– of pain, love, and destruction.
