Biography
I am a copyeditor from Pondicherry, India. Poetry has been my love for over five years. I love to write about someone I know personally, let them know who and what they are, make them feel special. I have this habit of asking people to give me words to write poems. That’s pretty special to me. My constant muses are woman, nature, time, love, and the world. Anything that touches my heart or brings out my rage makes me write. I am neither well connected nor big on social media. I prefer spending time writing for the sweet little group of readers that are always hungry for more from me. I get a world of satisfaction from that. I do have some important messages in my poems that I’d like others in the world to get. So I agreed, through constant encouragement from my friends, to publish. That led to my two books One Flew Over The Heart and Words from Under the Burning Bridge. If you’ve read my words and they made you smile or think, then my day is made, because all of my poetry is from the heart and true.
My poetry
the place for all that I adore I find here in my hands time freezes when they hold time seizes, alone I stand a map of this life of mine I see here in my hands brings and takes of every kind bits and pieces of a master plan nerve endings are a surprise I feel right here in my hands fingers make ten more eyes I see things I otherwise can’t the power to choose or lose rests here in my hands my choices are sole proof I’m the lady of my land a love that you grow in me flows to you through my hands there’s not much show in me my every touch you understand I hold you close to my heart the best I do with my hands the letting go when we depart the worst I do... for the world goes bland.
