Biography

'Poetry's answer to Mark Thomas' [Chortle] Mr The Temp (BA, MA, PhD, PDF) is a poet, a lover and a damn fine administrator. His act combines high octane spoken word with musical comedy and audience participation.

Since 2008 Pete has shared a stage with Bill Bailey, Mark Thomas, Stewart Lee, Josie Long, John Hegley, Elvis McGonnagal and Howard Marx. He has performed at over 17 festivals including the Edinburgh Fringe, Glastonbury, Shambala, Secret Garden Party, The Oxford Literary Festival and the Bristol Poetry Festival.

Beyond performing he does slam poetry workshops in schools and youth centers. He is also involved with Cyc du Soliel (a cycle and solar powered sound system). The system is used to do green themed performance poetry workshops and stages at festivals. To see, hear and read more visit www.petethetemp.co.uk

Pete,

Thanks for the info. We are reviewing all the gigs listed as repeating events. Glad to hear yours is indeed still going.

Pete,

Dropped you an email about the 'Jam on That' gig listed on this site. Any word about whether that gig is still running?
