Biography
Raine Geoghegan, MA Creative Writing, BA Hons, Drama and English Literature, Dip RWTA (Training & facilitation). Previously and actress/dancer and theatre director I now write poetry, short prose and flash fiction. I have had many pieces published online and in journals/anthologies. I am currently working on a project based on my Romany Heritage and am actively seeking a publisher. I founded 'Writing from the Heart', a Creative Writing Programme in 2013 which I have put on hold whilst I am working on the Romany project. I also coach writers and performers in voice work, breath and presentation skills as well as mentoring new writers. I am also interested in the role of poetry and prose as a tool for healing and well being.
