Tears Richard A. Borbon 02/21/17 I’ve touched you a thousand times without knowing More than the grapes on the vine of a hill All of the secrets have drowned in their fragrance All of your teeth are the seeds of my bones Every horizon dissolved in your eyes Your tears are just waterfalls learning to fly No one can sleep when their fingers are borrowed Mine are the voices that ran out of time Maybe someday I’ll use yours as well Desserts are jailed for stealing the rain The soil is making a road on my feet Every direction takes me to your laughter Falling inside of the faith of a thorn The storm is now turning the pages of dirt A cliff just leaped off the edge of a scream We are eternity trapped in a vein Somebody had to adopt all the pain
