Biography

LORD, if it exists, will you please now Ignore my list If you let me in I promise I will settle down But If my resting space Is to be “the other place” The icy stares I’ve suffered Will I pray come cool me down Many times I’ve bitten off Much More than I could chew Full of fruit forbidden I would easily be led astray Many words there written Are all Truthful , harsh , ill fitting Most of them were deliberate But some…. I couldn’t say

Samples

EVE Dream a dream weave a spell Lost soul that hungers for the heart Ensuing loneliness now be gone Come to an end this day Outside beyond locked garden gates As candles melt all full of sin Leave far behind the fear unscathed Call out and dare concede give in With every trust filled soft flesh kiss Every sinful lip bit wish Become love filled the captive slave Let lustful thoughts embroil and crave So succulent each bite so sweet The fruit so ripe it falls

Hello Ron,

Welcome to Write Out Loud. Please accept my apologies for this tardy welcome, as I have been away on my annual holidays and unable to communicate easily.

I hope you are enjoying the site. We're really looking forward to reading some of your work and I know that you will be warmly welcomed by other WOL-ers too.
If you haven’t already added a picture to your profile please try and do so. It’s good to see what our fellow poets look like.

Have a good browse around, there’s lots going on and if you have the time to make some comments about the work of other poets please feel free. It’s the best way to get some constructive feedback about your own work too.
There’s always someone who’ll help you out with a problem, so just ask and someone will get back to you. It’s a friendly place, so welcome once again.

Graham Sherwood
