just a student...interested in writing poetry...no published works...just a hobby...more of an expression of self...feelings...events in life...i love how simple words can describe so strongly how you feel about something. it gives you a sense of power. i believe poetry should not only be about how you express yourself but how your words touch the one reading it! the simpler...the deeper its meaning!

HOME IS WHERE THE HEART IS The place where my heart finds comfort, which my soul longs. The place where I can rest my worries, where I find my peace. Though my sorrows be many, in that very place I find joy. Though the problems of the world be weighing me down, There I find my strength. So many chains of artificiality and compromise keep me bound, But there I can break free. The place where without fear I can speak my heart, Where without doubt I can be what I want to be, Where without judgement I can be the real self. The place where love is abundant and I feel protected; From the hypocrisy of the world. The place where I can laugh, scream, cry and rip my heart out. The place for which I would give anything, just to be existing; The place I believe will always be the same precious destination; I would leave all aside and run to. The place where my love resides, The place where I find myself The place I call HOME.
