My name is Shanaiya. Pronounced like Shania. Poetry speaks to me on a different level that I haven’t been spoken to before. It gives me freedom, space, and the loving feeling of just writing ❤️

Thoughts The thoughts that go through my head, you would think I lived in an insane asylum, but actually it’s more peaceful than that. I’m not locked in chains and their is no one controlling my brain, but sometimes I go insane about the thoughts in my head. I think about love and I think about heartbreak. I think about my future and what it’s gonna take to build my career and have no fear because with fear living in you, you’re not making it anywhere. Negative thoughts I try to stay away from because they make me sick. They make me vomit and choke out and I don’t like that shit. I try to stay positive and I try to stay sane, but some pain in my thoughts still remain.
