LEO He had the paws, the tail and the hair of a being of superior order He had the liberty not to spare the one who his name, would shudder Though still the young blood he was the mighty roar of the woods Nothing to lose & would never have lost if wasn't captured by those beasts in leather boots Now caged sans his pride Being whipped every time he cried Had even lost his royal stride They made him follow and abide like a marionette whose hands were tied to a force in disguise Ha! they called themselves human and humanity a standard "Maybe they held grudges for our genus, all cats, tigers and leopard, Maybe our ascendants were the wrong doers", The LEO wondered. And then he would try to roar and would be whipped again This time his flesh tore the Audience shouting 'more & more' The whip was of leather and so were their boots The material derived from his brothers whose blood still flow in the woods Then they beat him to the core with the same old leather So that he roars no more while his blood got redder And now he awaits his death for the beasts take out their knife But his tears have dies in faith and his blood, in the circus of life.
