Across the road I stood alone, Knowing not where to go, all unknown. With no aspiration and dream, Just flowing along the river downstream. Friends a big part of my life then, we only exchange forwards now and again, Lot of time then did like them not, Yet I stayed for they gave me a lot Now I don't see it that way, For with them it was a beautiful phase, With all our little adventures and might, believing we were the Queens of our time. Then along came different stages to life, Added relationships and a couple of new lives. With each day creating a memory of its own, grown into a tree now, once only a seed sown. What has job, responsibility, marriage motherhood and most importantly age bought to me? Courage, confidence, happiness and peace. With greying hair n fading skin, I feel more beautiful within, Blissful time that it is to be in, Hope it remains the same through thick n thin. Rich or poor, young or old why fear, Life's a rainbow enjoy it dear! Pick out the colours u like the most, Make an artwork with different strokes. Before life comes to a close, Live ur life heart and soul.
