Hi, This is my first time! Friends keep telling me that I have a talent. I like to write. I enjoy rhymes. I love Maya Angelou and the poems of Hafiz, Kahlil Gibran & Edgar Allan Poe to name a few.

The writings on the wall I'm told, the truth will come to pass, The fumes from engines quarrel with the scent of fresh cut grass, The skies not like it used to be, the clouds don't look the same, The blue no longer lifts my soul and there's a sadness in the rain, A sadness in the atmosphere a sorrow in the sea, Nothing seems to be immune from the stench of cruelty, There's a fascination to control, to always have an answer, To crack a whip and beat the earth, to be the lord and master, The writings on the wall you know, the truth will come to pass, You and I will long be gone, before each blade of grass.
