Samples
Wanderer Seeping from the surface through the sandstone Of the mellow wooded hills Easing out into the light Gurgling over smoothed and jumbled pebbles Learning the language of the culvert Meandering around the grass-grown lane Swelling and bubbling in the storm Sighing musing in the stillness Of the muddy pond. ******** Aberdyfi Sands The draw is of the rolling roar Beyond the road The railway and the golf course Through the marram dunes Yesterday the wind had made A speeding stream sand stinging to the eye Carving tails to every shell Seek the firm avoid the softness Steer towards the sea Then step and crush so many exposed skeletons
