Biography
I have a community arts company and I run workshops for a living using music, drama and creative writing. I love singing, and writing and performing poetry best. I'm in the Route Foreword anthology and I've been in Aesthetica and Libertine.

BAT’S BACK Ink-tick silhouette Dynamic winged pip Ripple-rip in sunset Moth-snatch backflip Bat-flick – flit – dip Sudden blank into black Zip back, stark blip Flutter – pop – ping – skip Speed up, scat fast Suck bug on the wing Mini-v scuttle past Bat’s back, it’s Spring! OVERTIME Goose pimples stud my forearm Chill air grabs at my neck The heating has been off for hours Pixels dance in the monitor glare Glazed eyes fight to focus They’ve been open for too long The silence of the night whistles Like a test card in my ears My clothes are sick and tired Of being on me They start to drop off and float away But it’s OK My eyelids have grown They’re long like a gown And they cover me

Have a wonderful weekend at Turton Tower -- hope the weather stays dry and the people arrive in their hundreds and thousands (now they sound like cake sprinkles, don't they?). May the Friends of Turton Tower have their coffers loaded and their support boosted. Hooray! Good luck and a merry time to all the stellar poets and musicians you've assembled, too (of which you are an exemplary example, Stellar Stef).

Good stuff of course.. Sorry I couldn't stop to talk with you at Not Part off at the Dancehouse Theatre.. I was getting dragged all over the place there almost literally!!!!
