Many Rooms There are many of me in the house of God - as many as there are rooms. For every thought there is an I and for every window there is a thou. We wander lost, tho' every so often we meet, separated by glass before we move on . Occasionally you find me looking out but turn and run. Sometimes I see you lonely in the garden crying over your poetry but which is which and who is who I don't think I will ever know. Tango of the Broken Legs See this grated movement sheared from jointed dance; fallen, risen, then trembled, held static in impassioned glance? It is written in the fluid bite of a scissor's bloodied blade, then cut with knives finger long, whose kiss quickly fades. This is the lyric drawn on sky torn paper, sung but once as it is thrown to the winds, this is her song of a solo dancer - a voiceless bird released from chains. Count her dreams, her steps to flight, the courtship of weight out of gravity, her journey spiraled from cold intellect, to the free form fall of physical insanity; this is what we surely all are movement; calculated by fire, heart, purest vitality. Korean Love Poem There was no question of alliance no cross-border cooperation even of a hint of diplomatic immunity. Rapprochement began when I sought abject forgiveness for crushing your toes at that dire "excuse me" evening dance. Since then my personal political creative, economical, sartorial even moral day to day policies have been only of your concern. Your are the south to my north my single people's republic and I your hairy profligate mate of often questionable abilities. Too rich, Too needy. Too loud. I drink. Overthink. Dress badly. I Need to wash more often too but won't. I smell, you say loudly. Yet we make love like tigers, We kiss like humming birds seeking nectar from flowers. We fuck and fall asleep in each other's embrace as if we are dying and we never ever say I love you.
