RATHER YOU GO AWAY

RATHER YOU GO AWAY

don't wanna tell
the truth
about the things
i do
so i won't
lose you
don't wanna
lie
avoid your
eyes
cuz what if you
say goodbye
don't speak
honestly
tell you secrets
about me
because you might
turn and leave
act like a
chameleon
so it
won't end
can't let my
colors show
so i keep up
the pose
won't reveal
my core
afraid you"ll walk
out the door
live with
so much fear
not really
me here
deep as
a hologram
not being
who i am
life behind
a veil
everyday a
new tale
don't wanna be
one dimension
done with
pretension
rather you
go away
then continue
being fake
