On Monday 3rd May, eight previous slam winners go head to head in a three round contest of spoken word to win a place in the UK National Slam. With judges picked from the crowd and audience feedback positively encouraged it promises to be not only a showcase of the immense variety of London talent but also a friendly-rowdy-shout-yourself-hoarse night of high-quality entertainment.

 Hosted by Angry Sam and Sophia Blackwell and featuring a guest set from current Hammer and Tongue UK Slam champion, Pete the Temp, it's a Mayday last of the bankholiday stylish end to the long weekend. Doors open at 7pm. Get there early for seats!
