Bugs

We sit in the garden
We search for the ants
We like to name them
And look at the plants

We sit in the grass
And we look for the bees
We like to pretend
That they have families

We sit on the sidewalk
And stare at a worm
We like to give them water
And watch them all squirm

We sit in the classroom
And think to ourselves.
As the teacher kills a spider,
How cruel.
