Solitude

entry picture

I sit here staring at the sky..
The human buzz has reduced..
You can hear the birds chirp..
You can hear the trees sway...
The wind whistles on it's own...
The Air however feels heavy...
Heavy with doubts,fear,speculation...
Does this how the world standing still feels like?
The heart sinks a little...the brain freezes a little...
Then comes  this songbird chirping at my window..
She sings her sweet song oblivious  of the silent chaos around her...
I sit and hear her..
The heart strings are pulled...
Why are we not enjoying this solitude..
A time to reflect, retrospect, revive, rejuvenate...
Find happiness in little things in life..
Appreciate  a poetry..
Listen to a song which bring back memories,
Write,draw,sing,cook...
Or just stare out in the vast expanse..
We are so used to the bustle around that we fear the calm..
So as I reprise my self from this..
I light a little candle..
Let Beethoven  play in the background..
Decide on ingredients  for a simple meal..
Keep working on my work goals..
Read a book and ponder...
Speak to friends...
Be a listener...
And yes...thank the universe...
For even in this chaos...it deals with a caring hand..
Giving us ways to heal ourselves  before it's too late..
