Silky cocoon

It's beautiful! Isn't it?

Little child, waiting to be a butterfly.

Sits on leaf, looks at a bee.

Why am I not flying

Am I one of the bees?

Behive is indeed a safe place,

But only for the bees.

I don't make any honey,

What IS my purpose

Of this infancy, in this casing

Lured to honey and the bees,

Let me emerge out of this cocoon

I'm just a caterpillar

I wish I could be a bee.

I wish I had life(cocoon),

My best friend, you are yet to emerge

To a butterfly

Flapping your wings,

Travel the world,

Sweeter than your aspirations, sweet nectar of your roses

Have been waiting for you

Ever since you sat on it's leaf.
