The simplicity of life

The complexity of man

Of expectations not heard

And intentions hidden in the crevices deep within one’s heart

 

The double standards that exist

Yet the respect that is demanded

The trust that is violated

All in the name of self-love

 

Many avoid to be used

Yet find themselves culprits of being users

Of trampling on others, and leaving them bruised

And wonder why, progress is far from them

 

I say again, the simplicity of life

Yet the complexity that is man

Transparency, selfless-love, communication the answer

If only many could imbibe them, some challenges could be avoided
