Anglesey Abattoir 200 hit by coronavirus outbreak

Anglesey an island of amazing adventures ,an  inspiring place,

A coronavirus outbreak at The Two Sisters Abattoir we have to face.

Terrified workers were afraid to breathe,

The spread was rapid difficult to believe.

200 cases of the virus at the chicken factory in Anglesey,

A local lockdown it had to be.

The people working together were dropping like flies,

Workers working together was not very wise.

Groups of three working side by side,

Social distancing ,difficult to abide.

Llangefni the Anglesey town was reeling in shock.

A new hotspot for coronavrus ,back in lock.

Similar outbreaks in meat factories all round the world,

Have been reported as a new chicken spike has been unfurled.

Cooler temperatures at food factories put workers more at risk,

Virus' are rekoned to spread at a pace more brisk.

Conditions are cold,noisy and damp,

The virus is jet sprayed as fast as a the light from a lamp.

Chickens reared in confined spaces without enough room to spread their wings,

From one chicken to the other the deadly virus springs.

Each new chicken is born a virus incubator,

A pandemic on our doorsteps a human hater.

Booming chicken farms are a carpet of feathers,

A host for the pandemic where the virus teathers.

In the undergrowth the virus is lurking,

A nightmare scinario where vacines are not working.

This is the last thing that Llangefni does need,

My thoughts are with the workers whom their family feed.

Coronavirus has left the world all over quite numb,

Stay strong at the Anglesey Abattoir a vacine hopefully will soon come.
