Thunder and Darkening
Icarus moonbound, the human mind
flayed in the watery filaments
of the firmament
God-scorched, flames curl in the mirage of
neurotic moths like thoughts flocking
to a corpse
and just when you think you hear silence
A TREE
LIGHTS
Illuminations appear as sad creatures
to the unexpecting, blue branches
dance down from above
green pikes lick the sky
ghostly deformities made whole
by our empathic awe
our hearts click to the flash-whip intact
in many pieces waiting in wonder
for the way, the Word
to reveal yet again the Sacred Mind inhuman
infused in every spark
can you fly too close
to what you cannot see?
