Bluebirds
Pretty bluebirds
I want to be one of them
Dandelions that cover the dirt
I want to be one of those
Insignificant beautys that are praised
for simply being
They get to be in the sunlight with no words
to encourage them
I want to go out and see them
but a black cloud blocks me from seeing
I feel the grass and warmth of the sun
but everything is dark
Rain drops fall from my cheek
I think it's rain
Vengeful clouds wrap around me
I am too scared to move
to yell help
The doorknob is slippery
I collapse against the door
Pretty bluebirds and dandelions wait for me
in your world
I am still stuck in mine
