We amassed 97 points, an amazing 2nd place haul.
Koppites became 'believers' we answered Klopps call.
But after such a gallant effort how would the team fare?
Could they go 1 step further, dream should we dare?

This season will go down in history as it came to a stop.
The World suffered a pandemic, no flags on the Kop.
Thousands of lives lost and World lockdowns the norm.
All sport took a back seat, too many deaths to mourn.

Would football return, with about 9 or 10 games to play?
The decision was was made, they would find a safe way.
So football returned, sanitized and behind closed doors.
Goals would be greeted in silence, or with canned TV roars.

Pre lockdown Liverpool where brilliant and Title bound.
Man City chased our shadow, despite their dirty pound.
So when the season resumed, we quickly put it all to bed.
The Title was coming home, our City that night turned red!

Now tonight at Anfield, our players should not feel alone.
