She sat on the bench sad,blue eyed,

Tears flowing as she cried.

Both her grand parents had sadly gone,

"I must have had  the virus and passed it on."

 

She reflected on the symptoms she had got,

As a healthy teenager not a lot

A slight sore throat and a loss of smell,

Nothing major , didn't feel unwell.

 

"My grand parents I did adore,

No longer here they lived next door."

Frail and elderly they both had died,

She sat on the bench and sadly cried.
