Building a fire
There's 2 sticks
Give it A lot of friction
A slow building tension
Allow it some time It'll start, don't whine
See the little embers?
all of the smoke?
Take a step back so you don't choke.
Give it room to breathe
Just watch, you'll see.
See, there's a little flame
all you need is a little time and patience
You wouldn't want all that effort to be wasted.
A really good fire doesn't come easy.
It takes time to grow.
It's fascinating with how long they can glow.
It's catching
The wind was just lightly blowing
Now the fire is going.
Listen, we don't want a bonfire.
Those are exciting but they burn out rather quick.
They can lead to wild fire and the amount of damage can be thick.
So, we're gonna make a camp fire.
The flames are still alluring but it will last.
Now this is going to require learning from the fires we've made in the past.
So Don't forget to watch it.
I know there's other stuff going on around us
But letting this burn out would be a loss.
Now add a little more to it.
But not too much.
Add just enough to give it a crutch.
We need to keep it confined.
We don't want it getting out.
We don't need everyone to scream and shout.
This fire is meant to provide.
Day or night, It'll keep you warm.
If you maintain it properly, you can keep it going even in a storm.
And if you go slow you can even move it.
You can make a fresh camp and leave the soot behind.
Just keep a few burning embers and take drop of turpentine.
Take it to the beach
Build a fire in the sand
Maybe one day you'll sit next to it holding someones hand.
