Woman ll

entry picture

9/11/20

I've passed away just like all my pretty flowers.
I've spent time all alone for hours.
I feel isolated, like I'm trapped in a tower, looking out at everyone but they don't see me.

Becoming a woman is realizing that when you're alone, there is no reason that you shouldn't be alone.
Or expect anything more from anybody else than what already is and has been.

I can't be the girl who builds you

I'm a woman now.

I can't stand by and put your happiness above my own, waiting in neglect

I'm a woman now.

To all the boys who leaned on me and then dropped me so easily

I'm a woman now.

And you still think you're a man.
