WHILE LOOKING AT THE MIRROR!

entry picture

Two worlds were evolving within,

slowly, meticulously and thoughtfully.

One was showing the unwanted reality,

and the other, was the desired world,

like a sky for a bird,

testifying freedom, infinity and vibrant display,

or like an ocean for the water,

screaming joy, liveliness and its true nature.

And everytime the mirror comes before,

its like a thunderbolt, shocked and grieved,

because that in front of mirror is unwanted reality,

and the grief and hope lies deep inside the heart.

Grief of helplessness to swap the worlds,

and hope that some day desired world will be reality.

A poignant write. As I have become older the mirror has not been a good friend of mine! Still, we are all in the same boat, as far as that goes.
