The Black Pearl
Our love was the Black Pearl of the vast oceans
Feared in all four corners of the world, with them they will surely bring the darkest of potions
For years we filled her hull with unspoken devotion
And then one stormy day she ran aground on the rocky shores of treachery, chaos and commotion
With her sails broken and stern cracked, we realized we were unable to push her back into motion
We broke our promise to sink with our ship
Our once magnificently feared love now lay in the shallows, salt eating away at her each kiss of a waves lips
We begrudgingly unpacked our treasures on the shores of Deceit
A lonely little island now separating you and me
