SEAGUL
Begging seaguls amongst the people
Stalking humans outside restaurants and chip shops
Eagerly awaiting leftovers knowing it is theirs if something drops
We as humans are complaining as if they are a pest and in the way
They would be at sea if the fishermen didn't take their fish away
Now a seagul has a heart and with a heart should be a soul
To you he may not be useful ..but hes here to play a role
Just like a common pigeon waiting for crumbs from your hand
They wouldn't be squatting in your loft.. if we didn't build over their land
We take their trees and nests away and complain that they're still breeding
But they still need a place to live and their babies still need feeding
What triggered my thoughts on this.. was someone's Facebook post
A common shallow complainer and what mattered to her the most
"Does anyone know if the council can help me for goodness sake?
The seaguls are so loud from 6 they keep me awake"
Now the comments from her followers whos morals seem also tainted
Proves how much society is moraly disorientated
