I Am The Girl

All falling for my beauty

Because I am such a cutie

So elegant and naughty

Even when I turn forty

Doing the impish things

Using my gorgeous wings

Soaring fire that sings

Discarding vicissitudes that life brings

Turning the world from misery to glory

Disentangling the dim-remembered story

Similar to that of a limestone quarry

Do you understand my allegory?

I am the marvellous girl

That makes my fans whirl

Some say diamond, some say pearl

As the days gradually unfurl!
