I only wish I had a camera with me.
Something so different today to see!
I look out from my Arkles Lane room.
And I see 2 horses, enjoying a groom!

From a bucket, they munch on straw.
Tied loosely to a van, nice and secure.
They receive the works, mane to tail.
If 'on the pull tonight'..they cannot fail!

I see dandy brushes and curry combs.
More interesting than the traffic cones!
One groomer with large shovel in hand.
He fertilizes the surrounding park land!

Nodding heads, standing perfectly still.
And wearing coats to keep out the chill.
Finally topped off with a coat of fly spray.
That was my lovely, window view today!
