All I want to do is show my heart 

But I am unable to

The chains that bind me 

Forever and always 

Are controlled by those I deem worthy 

Just once , 

I want to free my heart 

Give it my all 

And catch you when you fall

so short. yet put so well. the chains that hold us back are ourselves. we don't let ourselves be happy or in love. too scared of feeling the pain again
