This Sunday we have (in no particular order):
Jackie Hagan: the author of ''The Wisdom of the Jumble Sale'' a multicoloured stalwart of Manchester's live poetry scene whose poetry encompasses carebears, losing your mind and kwiksave.
John North: a poet hailing from Cumbria, his work is that of a country boy let loose in the city.
Max Wallis: one of the newest talents to emerge, the writer of the wildly successful
http://www.somethingeveryday.co.uk/about where he posts poetry every day. He recently collaborated on a piece of spoken word performance at Contact Theatre.
Sam O'Hana: recently completed an Art Foundation at MMU, where he found his art and poetry seeped into one another.
Bookfest is an Oxfam wide event which aims to get people donating to, buying and enjoying books from Oxfam.
In the shop in Withington (opp. Fuel Cafe) we intend to have a series of reading on three Sundays between the 4th and 18th of July, between 2-6pm.
Some of the best young poets on the live poetry scene in Manchester will be reading for free for your delectation and delight.
So come on in, listen, browse, donate, enjoy.
