Safe distance

I will keep a safe distance

even if you grant me a chance

never violate your modesty

and encroach upon the integrity

 

You were kind enough

to make me laugh

and roar into happiness

it was a fine and appreciable response

 

what did you remind?

and remained not afraid

as I didn't cross the boundary,

was it necessary?

 

I found in you

a reasonable character to view

from a close distance

with no intention to cause interference

 

your response was encouraging

and was never outraging

my mind was at rest

as it faced a crucial test

 

we have become now one entity

by the blessing from an almighty

with your concurrence

I need to practice no pretence
