Old school days still fascinate me

we were disciplined and free

always eager to know what is going on

the question was asked and a solution was shown

 

what a harmony!

and attitude brotherly

we were learning together

with keen interest and sans fear

 

teachers were held in high esteem

and were known as knowledge beam

always providing us with an easy system

and adjusting with a smile to solve them

 

now it has completely changed the face

children face an "Online " onslaught

everything is taught

with eyes and mind outrightly coming in attention

 

school concept is fast disintegrating

if such threat of corona persists

parents too may not insist

"sending children to school" may least be appreciated soon
