We will dance ‘til Winters end
Loves path is not straight or true
When there are maybes and questions anew
The hard part is answering them, working through
So that instead of one against the world it may be, we two
Our hearts did not ask for Cupid’s arrow to invade
To set up a true foundation on which love can be made
We will talk, make love, and let our feelings trade
Whatever happens, for us, for this time heaven played?
To have the love of you my lady, for life is my dream
To face life’s challenges as a pair, part of a team
To love, to have and hold; Oh! How supreme!
So why lord do you test me, tearing me at the seem
Have not my love and I not faced spring and summer season
Grown through tough times without being given a reason
Sometimes in this world there is just know pleasin’
Lord, I’ll keep my ‘
Unlike many a divorcee who had been tried, then they fail
With my true love there two more seasons to sail
So be gone temptations, be gone, I demand you turn tail
For we will dance ‘til winters end, my lady and this male

Hi Clarissa
Yes my Jen does receive these poems. I started writing the odd poem 25 years ago, when we went a courting. Married 23 years this year.
