Into the Past

There was a home 
Burried under the memories
A million decades old
There was a story 
Under the ruins 
Of some wounds untold

They keep her awake 
Through the nights 
She has passed
Through these years 

And all the lust 
That's remained in her 
Are the memories
Of some blurred dreams 
Some indistinct figure
That must have been killed
In some wars of the yesteryears

And she follows the silhouette
Into the dark, unknown mysteries 
Of some forgotten life

Through the days 
and the nights
through months and years 
Through storms and the sunshine

And everytime her voyage
Hits a shore
It's not the destination
She had ventured for...
