Our Capacity 2/7/10
Human brainbox, encased within its depths a trillion things
Hovering or bouncing, lurking or surfacing
A whirling, swirling and twirling mass of entities
Not all pleasing or easy on the head to remember
Recalling some full of splendour, others we’d prefer to endeavour.
Clever comebacks we’d wish to gain the courage to vocalise
Major minor thoughts and vocabulary magnified
Often blown out of proportion, dignified distortion
Providing scope for doubt instead of determination.
Memoirs, souvenirs parading from one think tank to another
Wondering, deciding the right choice of what to figure out first
A curse or thirst for inspiration, then something else pops in to discover
A jolt towards analysing, rising surprises, fiesty enterprises
Versus confusion and musing bemusment;
Inward battles that reflect and affect our present actions
That cause out mind to unnecessarily sanction.
Swamp of bright ideas, mind maps and brainstorms
Beliefs, fears and forgotten tears
Our wounded past jogged by the slightest of scents
Meant as a sign to signify and reassess our weaknesses.
Features to either organise, despise or cry to confront
Then swiftly return to reality, gravitational earth with a thump
Sudden lump in our throat, agonising pumping heart remains for a while
Beguiling, then smile secretly to ourselves
Reminded that perfection ceases to exist!
Our thought processes are like a misty jungle, a jumble called life
Strife unspoken stories, events regretted to have missed
But participated in, bliss then to realise begin recognition
That overcoming obstacles, pushing our potential is the greatest feeling
One ever dreams of imagining…
