No miracles

Do believe in hard work

and not expect sweet words

believe in struggle!

and not miracles to happen

 

it weakens your spirit

expect love when you greet a person

some returns shall come

you only welcome

 

life has strange behaviour

but you keep mum and not murmur

it shall spring a surprise

with lots of promises

 

why should we expect?

and react too

if unexpected things take place

it must bring a pleasant smile on the face

 

it can't be a bed of roses

and you can choose

at your convenient time and enjoy

sometimes it may annoy you too

 

life we may make

cake we may enjoy

the sweetness and fruit of labour

shall always give you respect and honour
