O, My countrymen

Oh, rising sun

enlighten our nation

with glittering rays and beams

we sing in praise the national anthem

 

o rain, shower with

our fields and usher

in prosperity with grains

that shall feed our brethren

 

O morning

birds, chirp with singing

add melody and sweating

for my country's rising

 

let my countrymen pray for mercy

act with the spirit of humanity

pray for well being

and resolve to bring peace and stability

 

I long for my country's honour

and name to be remembered forever

in the world over

where sun sets never
