A Warrior
Born in a dusky town,
Was a little girl brown,
Had an invisible crown,
Who was destined to get renowned.
As the time flew,
Trials and Tribulations hit her through,
Poverty and Despair only grew,
But she did not give in to.
Armed with nerves of steel,
Filled with determination and grit,
In a world of ordeal,
She never did quit.
Adding jewels of virtues to her crown,
This is the tale of every girl around,
Aiming for the stars,
Whilst having her feet on the ground.
To the world,
She’s a Scientist, an Entrepreneur, a Doctor,
But to her loved,
She takes off her jewelled crown,
For unblemished love to be served.
She’s a mother,
Happiness of her kids being greater than no other,
She’s a career woman,
Her hard work defines her like no other.
She’s like the breeze,
That can give you chills when perturbed,
Or can put you in ease,
On a day hot and torrid.
For any stature she seeks,
She is always unique,
Her past may be bleak,
But she will conquer her peak,
Clearing the rubble like a creek.
