Cats know what love is
Cats know what love is, I’ve seen it with my eyes. If you’re feeling lonely, to them It’s no surprise. They’ll sit and purr upon your lap, until you push them down. By which time you’ve forgotten the reason for your frown. They are clued in from the start, as kittens seem to know, their only vocation is to be there for you so. If you are a cat lover, you feel it, and they know, from the Tabby living down the street to the one curled up at home. Cats the World over, they all behave the same. If you treat them kindly, they won’t hold you to blame: for being down at paw, and living out of skips, you’ll open up a tin of Mackerel, they’ll always lick their lips. So, when you come home to bed from a particularly taxing day, they’ll sleep upon your face, and wake you up that way. But, like me you won’t mind, because the pros out way the cons, of having such companions when every hope is gone. Cats do know what love is, we know it to be true, ‘cause you love cats like I love cats, I know ‘ cause you’ve one too.
