Knocking 'the Spots' off Each Other!

 

White impressed on Black “You’re in the background: we’re on top.”

Black replied “This constant ‘domination’ needs to stop.”

White retorted “We’re ‘Spot-on’! We ‘pip’ you: ‘rule the game’.“

Black then countered “That’s untrue. We’re, surely both the same.

 

This could have worked out, either way. Our roles could be reversed.

Our ‘blocks’ could look much different. (That’s no better or no worse!).

Whichever shade we are, we have the other one to thank.

For, if there’s only one of us, we’d simply ‘draw a blank’.

 

Let’s work together, ‘hand-in-hand’. ‘Heads up!’ There is no doubt.

Not put each other down, until our numbers are ‘all out’.

The ‘points we keep on scoring’ with such mutual dis-respect,

will play a dangerous game - it’s called the ‘Domino-Effect!’ ”
