Animals

Appreciation

We as a society lack little to no sympathy

What’s not our problem, becomes our excuse

Cold hearted and selfish

Walking past those without roofs

Becoming invisible to the unseen

Imagine the feeling

Of a singular bird flying thru the air

No nest, as all of its trees have been cut down

Unable to fully prosper

Asking for suffering

We know there are issues

But how can we restore the nests of those birds whose homes have been destroyed?

Sometimes we treat animals more like humans

And humans more like animals

Forget the cages, throw away the keys

Let’s see what we could do for people to live free
