The Walk

Giant man-made puppet in Manchester walks the walk with a story to tell - - -

Mother child

torn apart

refugee girl

tears harden

survival calls

caring people

kindness guides

desperate hostile

horrendous journey

human love

waits anxiously

heartache yearns

reunited hope

keeps walking

never stopping.

The puppet used to tell the story I think are one of those used in Liverpool when they had a huge parade , but this time this puppet tells a more emotional tale.
Thanks Keith

This poem well summarises the plight of those who are refugees in this sad world where so many are plunged into despair.

A good poem
Thanks
