Forgotten Myself
Whenever you gaze at me
I stand still like a tall tree
Reading those beautiful eyes
Full of love, happiness and surprise
Your name written in the air with my fingers
Your smell, touch and beauty lingers
This feels like such a funny game
Day after day, all this remains the same
There are times when you make me smile
Making every moment just worthwhile
Forgetting myself when I am around you
Regardless of feeling happy, angry or blue
So many occasions where we stare and avoid
Not certain if you are content or annoyed
Whether it is a quick glimpse or turning around
I go with the flow without making a sound
Let us continue this silent journey together
Snow, rain, sun or wind, whatever the weather
Making every moment special without words
Just two beautiful, wild and muted birds!

An intriguing poem from an unusual stance.
Thanks
